Dr. William Aukerman was born and raised in the Latrobe area and graduated from Greater Latrobe High School in 1976. Following high school he attended Clarion University for his pre-chiropractic studies then went on to continue his education at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. While attending Palmer, William played rugby for the college team. He graduated from Palmer with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in December of 1981 and then soon after opened up Aukerman Chiropractic Clinic in 1983. During his first years of practice William continued his education and gained a diplomate as a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist. He specializes in treating and rehabilitating sports injuries. In the recent years he served as Chairman of the Board for the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, 2010-2013. In 2016 Dr. Aukerman has been appointed to serve on the Pennsylvania State Board of Chiropractic.  ​
